Description:

Plate 157X. Tropic Reservoir ca. 1950-2003 Viewed southeast across the upper end of Tropic Reservoir. The original image was taken to show the amount of sediment that was being deposited in the reservoir by the East Fork of the Sevier River. Conditions, however, have improved in the upper watershed and today sediment inflow is minimal. Juniper, pinyon, ponderosa pine, and spruce have all increased.
