Plate 752X. Manera Wash 1954 – 1966 – 2004 In 1954, the Forest Service established three Parker Three-Step Transects at Manera Wash to monitor range conditions on the Dixie National Forest. In 1963, the agency added pellet group and utilization transects to the previously established Parker Three-Steps. Plate 752x is viewed northwest at the start of the first Parker Three-Step Transect. Pinyon and juniper have increased. Shrubs include cliff rose, bitterbrush, mountain big sage, snakeweed, and green rabbitbrush. Cheatgrass is abundant.
