Plate 1060X. Jim Hatch Reseeding Rock Canyon 1957 – 1962 – 2005 Viewed southwest along line one of the Parker Three-Step Transect in the Jim Hatch Reseeding. The site was actively being grazed by cattle when the retake was made. The area was root-plowed and reseeded with crested wheatgrass prior to the initial photograph, but today has been reinvaded by three-tipped sage and snakeweed. Mountain big sage and rubber rabbitbrush are also present. Pinyon, juniper, ponderosa pine, Douglas fir, and spruce have increased in the distance.
