Spring Creek




Plate 1329X. Spring Creek 1939 – 2006 Viewed west down Spring Canyon on Kanarra Mountain. The Pine Valley Mountains are in the distance. The foreground is more vegetated today than in the past. Conifers, oakbrush, pinyon, juniper, and other mountain brush species have increased, as have forest fuels. The hillside to the left of the canyon has been disturbed by mining activity.
