Spectacle Lake

Description:

Plate 77X. Spectacle Lake 1938-2002 Viewed southwest along the top of Spectacle Lake dam on the Aquarius Plateau (a.k.a. Boulder Top). The 1938 image was taken shortly after the original dam failed. The dam has since been rebuilt - - the structure on the present dam is the outlet control building. Spruce have increased in height, numbers and distribution.
