Shunesburg

Description:

Plate 1204X. Shunesburg 1934 – 2006 Viewed southeast up the East Fork of the Virgin River at Shunesburg. The building is on private property and was built in 1862. In the distance is Zion National Park. Cottonwoods and other woody riparian vegetation have increased, as have pinyon and juniper. Blackbrush and cheatgrass have increased in the foreground.
