Sheep Creek

Plate 422X. Sheep Creek 1932 – 2004 Viewed east-southeast down Sheep Creek. There has been a major change in the active channel, as might be expected after 70 years. Pinyon and juniper have increased, while Wyoming big sagebrush has declined. Some of the remaining sage has recently died during the extended drought. Four-wing saltbrush, bitterbrush, curlleaf mountain mahogany, birchleaf mountain mahogany, and desert holly are also present.
