Plate 57. SARGENT LAKE: 1976 - 1999 A new road had been built around Sargent Lake by 1999. Aspen (Populus tremuloides) appears to have been regenerating both in 1976 and 1999. Little has changed in the appearance of the vegetation. Some of the areas around the lake were burned in the 1980's.
