Plate 1475X. Pinto Creek 1960 – 2007 Viewed northeast down Pinto Creek about two miles south of Pinto, Utah in the Pine Valley Mountains. The stream channel has downcut, migrated to the right, and is more vegetated today than in the past. The valley bottom is private and the willows seen in the distance on the original image have been removed by the landowner. Pinyon and juniper have increased. The camera station is on the edge of Forest Service Road 011.
