Plate 698X. Pine Valley Mountain View Administration Site 1979 – 2004 In 1979, two Parker Three-Step Transects were established in an area where sagebrush had been treated with a Dixie harrow and then replanted with crested and intermediate wheatgrass. Plate 698x is viewed west from the starting point of the first transect. Sagebrush appears to have increased. New houses have been built in the distance.
