Description:
Plate 769X. Pine Valley 1948 – 2004 Viewed south to the Pine Valley Mountains. The photopoint is in the Mountain View Administration Site horse pasture - - see Plates 695x to 697x, and as such was interseeded with crested wheatgrass in 1936. Mountain big sage has declined, as crested wheatgrass has increased. Pinyon and juniper have increased, as have ponderosa pine, white fir, spruce, and mountain brush.
