Plate 1184X. Pine Creek 1929 – 2006 Viewed west-southwest down Pine Creek in Zion National Park. The photopoint is just north of the Pine Creek Bridge (Garate 1989) and Pine Creek is on the left. Utah Highway 9 has been widened and paved. The road-cut and fill have naturally revegetated with rubber rabbitbrush and cheatgrass. Pinyon, juniper, Utah serviceberry, and turbinella oak have also increased.
