Paria Townsite

Description:

Plate 853X. Paria Townsite 1915 – 2005 Viewed north at old Paria. The townsite has been abandoned for many years and is now dominated by greasewood, rubber rabbitbrush, and other dryland shrubs. To the west, the Paria River has stabilized and is more heavily vegetated today than in earlier times - - see Plate 854x.
