North Hills

Plate 1477X. North Hills 1937 – 2007 Viewed north-northeast from the North Hills to the Escalante Desert northwest of Enterprise, Utah. Pinyon and juniper now block the original camera station, so the retake was made from the nearest open area which is more to the right and further uphill. Nevertheless, pinyon and juniper have increased markedly, while sagebrush, bitterbrush, and cliffrose have declined.
