Plate 841X. Mountain Meadows 1909 – 2004 Viewed northeast from the hill north of the Mountain Meadows Monument. Cottonwoods and willows have increased along the edge of the irrigated fields, while pinyon, juniper, and mountain brush have increased on the distant hills.
