Mountain Meadows

Description:

Plate 840X. Mountain Meadows 1900 – 2004 Viewed northwest from the northern end of Mountain Meadows. Pinyon and juniper have increased as have various shrubs, including Utah serviceberry, oakbrush, sagebrush, and birchleaf mountain mahogany. The foreground has been reseeded with crested and intermediate wheatgrass.
