Meadow Creek Pavant Mountains

Plate 272. MEADOW CREEK PAVANT MOUNTAINS 1960-2000 Viewed southwest across the head of Meadow Creek in the Pavant Mountains with the Sevier Valley and Monroe Mountain in the distance. This area was contour-trenched and reseeded in 1943 to control erosion (see Plate 121). Sagebrush appears to have increased. Aspen has increased in height but has not regenerated due to repeated browsing. Snowberry is intermixed with big sage.
