Description:

Plate 885X. McDonald Lake 1925 – 2005 Viewed west to McDonald Lake. The road to Alton, Utah, which has been realigned and paved, is on the right. Pinyon, juniper, and ponderosa pine have all increased, while aspen has increased in height. Sagebrush has declined. The field on the left is no longer cultivated.
