Description:

Plate 243. LITTLE PINE CREEK 1970-2000 Viewed northeast across Little Pine Creek west of Circleville, Utah. The aspen along the stream in the original is leafless because that photograph was taken late in the fall. Pinyon and juniper have increased except where they have been burned. In addition, pinyon-juniper has been cleared from beneath the new, twin, high-voltage powerlines. Sagebrush has also decreased where it has been burned, while rabbitbrush has increased. Some of the taller shrubs (photo left edge) are curlleaf mountain mahogany.
