Little Creek

Description:

Plate 910X. Little Creek 1951 – 2005 Viewed northwest down Little Creek. Iron Peak (8,158 ft.) is on the right skyline. The stream channel was denuded in 1951 but today is covered with a dense growth of willows, currants, and rose. The original photopoint is now blocked by a thick growth of pinyon, juniper, rose, and currants, so the retake was made from the nearest open area. Pinyon and juniper have increased in the distance. The area is still grazed by cattle.
