Plate 886X. Little Bryce 1900 – 2005 Viewed northwest to Little Bryce at the south end of Long Valley. The 1900 image shows a horse-drawn scrapper and hand laborers buiding the original road. Today, U.S. Highway 89 has been realigned, and what is now an access road, leads to a KOA campground. Pinyon and juniper have increased, as has true mountain mahogany.
