Plate 861X. Kanab Creek 1932 – 2005 Viewed northwest up Kanab Creek. Tiny Canyon is on the left. Needless to say, cottonwoods and willows have increased dramatically. A few tamarisk and Russian olive are also present. The active stream channel has narrowed and is more stable today than it was in the past. Pinyon and juniper have increased in the distance.
