Johnson Mountain

Description:

Plate 1205X. Johnson Mountain 1872 – 2006 Viewed north-northwest to Johnson Mountain (6,080 ft). The foreground is privately owned and was recently leveled to create a new irrigated field. The hillside in the left foreground has been removed. The distant slopes are in Zion National Park. Pinyon and juniper appear largely unchanged. The photopoint is about 500 yards west of Shunesburg.
