Johnson Canyon

Description:

Plate 856X. Johnson Canyon 1948 – 2005 Viewed north up Johnson Canyon at the mouth of Cottonwood Canyon. The area has been root-plowed and reseeded with crested wheatgrass. The road has been paved and fenced, but is hidden from view in the retake by the lush growth following an exceedingly wet winter and spring. Pinyon and juniper appear to have increased in the distance.
