Powell Point (10,392 ft) is on the left skyline. Conifers have increased, as have pinyon and juniper. The Paria River channel, which flows from left to right in the distance, is more heavily vegetated today than in the past. Settlement patterns on the privately owned land in Tropic Valley have changed. The camera station is 200 yards south of Inspiration Point and the retake was made with an 80 mm telephoto lens.
