Plate 303. INDIAN SPRINGS GUARD STATION PAVANT MOUNTAINS 1962-2000 Viewed west to the Indian Springs Guard Station at the head of the North Fork of Chalk Creek. The buildings have been removed. The most common shrubs are snowberry, Ribes, and big sage. Aspen has failed to regenerate due to repeated browsing.
