Description:

Plate 1154X. Indian Hollow 1979 – 2005 Viewed northeast down Indian Hollow. Plates 1154x and 1155x were taken from the same camera station. The foreground is mostly green rabbitbrush, rubber rabbitbrush, silver sage, Kentucky bluegrass, and needle and thread. Pinyon, juniper, ponderosa pine, and curlleaf mountain mahogany have increased in the distance. Aspen has not regenerated due to excessive ungulate herbivory (Kay and Bartos 2000). The area had been grazed by cattle in 2005. Deer and elk use was also evident.
