Description:

Plate 804X. Horse Valley 1962 – 2004 Viewed northwest to the pellet group transect in Horse Valley. Aspen has declined, while conifers have increased at this site in the Pine Valley Mountains. Conifers include ponderosa pine, white fir, Douglas fir, spruce, and limber pine. The meadow is more vegetated today than it was in the past. Grasses include Kentucky bluegrass, smooth brome, and Stipa spp.
