Description:

Plate 1162X. Fremont Pass 1902 – 2005 Viewed east-southeast to Fremont Pass. Mount Dutton is on the skyline. Woody vegetation has increased. This includes pinyon, juniper, snakeweed, rubber rabbitbrush, oakbrush, mountain big sage, curlleaf mountain mahogany, and basin big sage (Artemisia tridentata tridentata). A road and two high-voltage powerlines have been added.
