Description:

Plate 15. FISHLAKE LODGE: 1930 - 1996 The main lodge is relatively unchanged, but a new marina has been added in the foreground. Conifers planted around the lodge have grown considerably. Aspen (Populus tremuloides) on the south-east facing hillside has increased in height and some clones have expanded in size. Conifers and curlleaf mountain mahogany (Cercocarpus ledifolius) on the hillside have also increased in height and numbers, as would be expected in the absence of fire.
