Plate 1257X. East Creek 1945 – 2006 Viewed northeast up the North Fork of East Creek in Bryce Canyon National Park. The early image was taken ten years after the area was graded, reseeded, and check dams installed to control erosion. Ponderosa pine has increased. Shrubs have increased including bitterbrush, black sage, and rubber rabbitbrush. The road has been realigned, widened, and paved.
