Description:

Plate 596X. Duck Lake 1941 – 2004 Viewed north to Duck Lake on the Dixie National Forest. Conifers, primarily spruce, white fir, and ponderosa pine have increased, while aspen has declined. The area is not grazed by livestock, as it is a major recreation area. Shoreline emergent vegetation has increased, as have willows across the lake.
