Plate 463X. Devil’s Garden 1875 – 2004 Viewed west to Goblin’s Archway in Devil’s Garden on the Hole-in-the-Rock road southeast of Escalante, UT. Fiftymile Mountain is on the skyline. The rocks in the foreground have eroded. Juniper has increased in height and density. Desert holly, skunkbrush, and Mormon tea are the most common shrubs. The arch is approximately 200 yards south of the BLM parking area.
