Description:

Plate 1344X. Coal Creek 1941 – 2006 Viewed southwest to the lower sediment-retention dam on Coal Creek east of Cedar City. Cottonwoods, willows, and other riparian vegetation have increased, as have pinyon and juniper across the creek. The foreground has been disturbed by construction. A bike path has recently been built on the south side of the stream.
