Plate 66. CIRCLEVILLE: 1938 - 1999 This is a view across Oak Basin from Utah Highway 153 to Circleville and Mount Dutton. Pinyon (Pinus edulis) and juniper (Juniperus sp.) are more abundant throughout the 1999 photo, especially in the open areas of the 1938 photo, on the distant hill (lower left center). Note the recent pinyon/juniper chaining on the lower slopes of Mount Dutton.
