Plate 309. BEAR HOLLOW NORTH FORK OF CHALK CREEK 1964-2000 Viewed northwest across a stock pond on Bear Hollow in the Pavant Mountains. This area is heavily used by cattle as there is a spring just above (left of) the stock pond. Aspen has increased in height but has not regenerated due to excessive browsing.
