Description:

Plate 181. BELOW MORONI PEAK 1916-2000 Plates 180-182 form a panorama from the southwest to the northeast. Plate 181 is viewed west across Pine and Little Creeks to Salina Canyon. In the distance are Musina Peak (10,984 ft) and the southern end of the Wasatch plateau. Aspen has increased in height and woody species have increased in the absence of fire. This includes Douglas fir, pinyon, juniper, oakbrush, curlleaf mountain mahogany, and aspen.
