Description:
Plate 965X. Assay Bench 1960 – 2005 Viewed southeast just west of the Assay Bench exclosure - - see Plates 959x and 960x. A Utah serviceberry is on the left and a ponderosa pine is on the right. Juniper, Utah serviceberry, and ponderosa pine have increased, while mountain big sage has apparently declined. The area is grazed by cattle, elk, and deer. Native Stipa spp. and Poa spp. appear to have increased. USFS Road 954 is in the foreground.
