4-H Club Divisions
Utah 4-H Age Divisions are based on a child's school grade. Youth are eligible to participate in 4-H between Kindergarten and 12th Grade. Youth who are homeschooled will follow the Utah State Board of Education criteria for placement based on age.- Cloverbud 4-H members Kindergarten through 2nd grade (Ages 5 through 7 as of September 1).
- Junior 4-H Members 3rd through 5th grade (Ages 8 through 10 as of September 1).
- Intermediate 4-H Members 6th through 8th grade (Ages 11 thorugh 13 as of September 1).
- Senior 4-H Members 9th through 12th grade ( Ages 14 through 18 as of September 1).

4-H Summer Camps
Camp | Date | Descriptions |
Junior Youth Confernce | June 12-14, 2023 | JYC is an opportunity for 5th and 6th graders to make friends, learn new skills, and have the time of their lives. It will have a Candyland theme. |
Utah i4-H | June 19-21, 2023 | This fun, exciting, hands on camp is desinged for youth completing 7th and 8th grade. They will participate in workshops, play games, and do other activities, and get to know other teens from all across the state. |
Cowboy Camp | June 22-24, 2023 | Cowboy camo is an awesome opportunity for youth to experience the agricultural industry. At this two and a half day camp, overnight camp, those who attend will get to learn from their industry leaders, eat locally grown food, practice their leather working skills, and develop leadership qualities. Each day is packed with learning by hands-on experience. Youth will have the chance to see the scenic Logan Canyon from the back of a horse, and perfect their aim while shooting a bow and arrow. Nights are spent around the campfire enjoying smores, or listening to Kaden Miner perform cowboy poetry and music. |
Utah 4-H Classic | June 26-28, 2023 | The 4-H Classic is the event where our State FCS, Speaking, STEM, Horse and Livestock contests are held. There will be a slate of workshops within different project areas available for youth and adults. |
Cooking Camp | July 7, 2023 | Day camp for 3-5th graders. Learn basic cooking skills. |
Teen Summit | July 10-12, 2023 | Teen Summit is an engaging youth leadership conference that focuses on building skills and providing networking opportunities for teens to share ideas and their passion to make a difference. This event is at USU and is for teens 14-18. Workshops will teach skills in personal leadership, interpersonal communication and team building. |
STEM Camp | July 19, 2023 | Two day camps will be offered. One for 3-5th graders and one for 6-12th graders. Fun equipment will be used to create individual STEM related projects. |
Craft Camp | July 26, 2023 | For ages 3rd grade through 8th grade. |
Cloverbud Camp | July 31, 2023 | Ages Kindergarten- 2nd grade. |

Horse Program
The Horse Program trains young riders to become competent and competitive with all different styles of horseback riding, including English, Western, and Working Ranch Horse.
