Josh Quigley

Biography

Josh is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning, with minors in Sustainable Systems and Art/Design, at Utah State University. He is passionate about the relationship between humans and the built and natural environments. Originally an Art/Design and Architecture student, Josh transitioned to LAEP in order to approach the design, preservation, and integration of our various environments with a more holistic and sustainable approach. Through his passion for plants, he was recently introduced to the principles of permaculture. After seeing the various connections between landscape architecture and permaculture, he strives to integrate the two distinctive and sometimes conflicting design approaches. Josh volunteers as a trip leader for the USU Outdoor Programs, leading various outdoor excursions that introduce students to new places, outdoor activities, and unique environments throughout the Mountain West.
