Keni Althouse

Biography

As a graduate student in the LAEP department, Keni had the chance to meet Roslynn Brain at the Permaculture Workshop. From there, along with help from Phil Waite in LAEP, they began the process of designing the permaculture garden. With many concepts and iterations based on input from Ros & James and available materials, they came up with the current design. The brick is recycled from the Fine Arts Courtyard and the broken concrete came from the LAEP house. The design is ever changing based on plant availability, donations from USU Professors (Brent Black), and experimentation.
