Utah Forest Legacy Program Accepting Project Pre-Applications Until October 16, 2023

The Division of Forestry, Fire and State Lands is now accepting project pre-applications for the Forest Legacy Program (federal fiscal year 2026) and the new opportunities provided by the Inflation Reduction Act funding (federal fiscal year 2024/25) for the Forest Legacy Program.

The Utah Forest Legacy Program offers assistance to forested landowners to help with projects to protect forests from being converted for non-forest purposes. Pre-applications are due October 16, 2023.
