Biography

Dr. Joseph Okoh is an Assistant Professor at Utah State University specializing in small-acreage livestock, animal genetics, breeding, and extension, with extensive international research, teaching, and leadership experience.

Research Interests

Research focuses on qualitative and quantitative breeding, genetic studies of various livestock species to improve animal production. This includes genomic evaluation of fertility in dairy herds, monogastric livestock nutrition, and phenotypic characterization of livestock breeds for further genetic analysis.
