Biography

I completed my MPH and PhD in Public Health at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where I specialized in environmental and global health. I am a researcher and lecturer with a background in substance use disorders, mental health, maternal and child health, HIV prevention, global health, and nutrition. I have experience working for HRSA and NIH funded projects addressing key public health issues including the opioid epidemic and HIV prevention. My current research focuses on reducing the impact of substance use disorders and mental health issues through prevention, treatment, and recovery.
