USU Campus Demonstration Gardens
Demonstrating Low-Water Landscapes on Campus
USU has created small demonstration gardens across campus to give opportunities based learning for both graduate and undergraduate students. The purposes of these gardens are to provide student-centered and experiential learning as well as expanding students’ knowledge on sustainability and water efficient landscaping. Students are able to gain experiences in garden design, horticulture (native and water-wise plants) and even marketing and advertisement for natural resource students.
