4-H and Event Registration Instructions

Get a jump on Summer Adventures registration by completing 4-H membership, new enrollment or reactivation before Summer Adventures registration opens on May 4th.

Refer to the bottom of this page for step by step instructions on how to enroll or re-activate your 4-H membership.

4-H Summer Camp

June 14 2023

Cost: $20.00

Ages: 8-18

Limit: 80

Location: 240 E 800 N, CASTLE DALE

Emery County Aquatic Center. Lunch and shirt included. Games, crafts, swimming and more! PLEASE WEAR APPROPRIATE SWIMWEAR UNDER YOUR CLOTHES BRING A TOWEL, SUNBLOCK, HAT AND WEAR STURDY FOOTWEAR.

REGISTRATION CLOSES JUNE 7 AT 5 P.M.

Drone Day Camp

Cost:$60.00

Who: 10-18 10-12 year olds,
must have parent.

Class Limit: 9-18
Must have at least 9 to hold camp.

Place: 3095 E. Airport Rd. Price

Cost includes, drone and chuck glider to take home. Parents have the option of being a “camper” for the day and receive the same drones as their children if they also pay the camp fee. Parents are welcome to come watch at 3:30. Bring a lunch, water bottle, sunscreen and hat.

Wonders of the Wizzarding World Club

Become an Entrepreneur this summer and sell at the county fair! We will have local business owners to teach how to run a business. You will need to attend all 3 of 4 classes to receive a $100 business startup scholarship. Parents must come with child to classes, to help with business startup.

4-H Enrollment or Reactivation guidelines

4-H is open to all youth in Carbon County

Every youth who desires to participate in Utah 4-H must enroll as a 4-H member.

  • New member: Create a family and membership profile account at 4h.zsuite.org. Parents, please sign up to be a volunteer. Call our office if you need help 435-636-3233
  • Reactivation: Each August 31st every 4-H membership is deactivated. This requires parents to review and update information regarding their youth. To reactive your family profile log into 4h.zsuite.org.
  • The annual fee for Utah 4-H enrollment is $10.00.
  • Approval for enrollment takes one business day if you pay online with a credit or debit card.

Register for an event

  • Once enrollment is approved, re-enter your 4h.zsuite.org account to register for a Summer Adventure Event. On the left side menu, select Event. You may scroll through the events to select an Event, or at the top of the event page, you may search for an Event.
  • Approval for the Event takes one business day if you pay online with a credit or debit card.

If an event is full or shows closed. Please call the office to see if there is a waiting list. If a class shows TBA, go ahead and signup on 4h.zsuite.org, and we will let you when there is more info.

If you choose to make enrollment and registration payments in the office, there is a 3 day grace period. After 3 days, the enrollment and the events will not be approved.

We try to make our summer camp opportunities available to everyone by keeping our prices affordable. Partial financial assistance is available for families with financial hardship. Financial Assistance Applications are available at the Extension office.

In an effort to provide a safe and healthy 4-H experience for the youth of Carbon County, the Utah State University Extension office will:

  • Follow all guidelines given through the Center for Disease Control, Utah State University and the state of Utah in regards to COVID19.
  • Limit club and camp participation size.
  • Masks are recommended.
