Home and Community
The Home and Community area of the Box Elder County Extension program is committed to strengthening all individuals and their families in our county. As a county we have experienced some unique challenges over the last few years, including a 12% growth in our population, that have increased need for education and information in our towns and cities. A few of these challenges include public health concerns, food insecurity, loss of jobs, financial challenges, and family struggles. In an effort to provide education opportunities to county residents, now more than56,000 people strong, we aim to provide education opportunities that are accessible to all and meet the most pressing needs of our community!

Healthy Relationships
Healthy Relationships Utah offers free research-based relationship education courses. These free courses are just one of many ways that Utah State University accomplishes this mission.
Livewell Utah
As another way to support Extension’s mission, the Live Well Utah blog focuses on providing Utah families with information on home, family, gardening and 4-H youth programs. Contributors are USU Extension specialists and agents from around the state who will provide tips and information on Extension programs and resources in a consumer-friendly manner.
Stronger Marriages
The mission of the Utah Marriage Commission is to help people form and sustain healthy and enduring marriages and relationships. The Commission promotes and supports marriage and relationship education services, with a special focus on serving populations at higher risk for family instability.
