Box Elder County 4-H offers something for all ages and interests! Some of our camps are open to the general public, while others are for 4-H members only. This means registration processes and fees may vary. We're happy to answer any questions: Call the 4-H office at 435-695-2542.
Please note grades follow the 4-H year and reflect the youths grade as of September 1, 2024.
Registration Policy & Process: Until payment is received, camp registration is considered incomplete and no reservation will be held. Upon payment, participants will receive a confirmation email (check your junk mail). Registration cancellations within 72 hours prior to camp are not eligible for refund.

Crime Scene Kitchen Cooking: Get ready for a thrilling culinary adventure at Crime Scene Kitchen Cooking, a two-day 4-H cooking camp! Young chefs will step into a mystery kitchen, where they’ll solve clues and use their cooking skills to whip up delicious dishes. This fun and interactive camp combines problem-solving, creativity, and teamwork, all while learning valuable kitchen skills. Don’t miss your chance to crack the case and cook up some tasty treats!

Join 4-H as we paddle canoes and kayaks down the scenic Bear River. This camp is perfect for youth eager to learn more about horses, with no horse ownership required to attend. Participants will explore various horse events, dive into horse anatomy, and gain hands-on experience with horse equipment. Join us for a 4-H Dog Camp, where your furry friends can have fun while learning new skills! Campers will work with their dogs on a obstacle course, Basic first aidand tricks, all while strengthening the bond between pet and owner. Whether you're a beginner or experienced, this camp offers hands-on training, games, and activities for dogs and their handlers. Don’t miss this paws-itively fun experience—sign up today!

Sewing Basics: 9-11:30am
Learn the fundamentals of sewing with a machine while creating your very own Reading Pillow! For ages 6 and up. Kids 13 and younger must have an adult helper (max 2 kids per adult). On day two, we’ll finish our projects and complete a sewing service project.
Sewing Advanced: 12-2:30 pm
Review sewing machine parts and tools while creating two lip balm pouches! For ages 8 & up. Kids 13 and younger must have an adult helper. On day two, we’ll finish projects and complete a sewing service project.

USU Drone Academy and Box Elder 4H will help youth build and fly chuck gliders, learn about aviation, and have large drone demos. You will be able to keep the chuck glider and a small quad copter. Lunch will be provided. Hat, sunscreen, and water bottles are recommended. Youth aged 10 must have a parent attend. All parents can come at 3:30 to watch the youth do the last activity.
