Where to Ride
Outdoor Arenas
There are four outdoor arenas of varying sizes within the 120 acre Facility; one is covered. These arenas are used for Open Ride, Club Nights, rodeos and other equestrian events.
Indoor Arena
The indoor arena is 150’ x 300’ with a total of 45,000 square feet. There are retractable bleachers with seating for 3,000. Flooring can be placed over the dirt floor for shows with vendors. The footing in this arena is extremely versatile and can be prepped for a variety of equestrian disciplines, including barrel racing, roping, jumping, reining, flat-work showing, and more.
Polo Field
This beautiful, 10-acre grassy area is open every day, except when an event is scheduled. The field is all lawn and fully fenced. We host a number of equine events in the field, such as polo and hunter jumper shows. The field is also used for non-equine events, such as national dog shows, lacrosse tournaments and other events requiring a large, outdoor space.
Around the Facility
Patrons may also ride on the roads around the Facility. However, we recommend riding in the arenas or the Polo Field as this is a working Facility with frequent vehicular traffic.
Amenities Use
Round Pens
There are four round pens in the Bastian Agricultural Center. The two round pens by the A and B Barns are for boarder use only. Round pens are considered working pens and must be treated as such. Please observe the following rules:
- Owner/trainer must be present with horses
- No feeding in the round pens
- 30-minute limit per animal
Failure to comply with these rules may result in eviction from the facility. Horses left unattended in the round pens or arenas will be locked in by our staff and the owner will have to come to the main office to have them released. Please be courteous to all users and boarders of the facility.
Walkers
Walkers in the Facility are privately owned, maintained and operated. Please do not use the walkers in the Facility without permission from the owner/operator. The Facility rents walker space on a month-to-month or an annual basis. The cost is $40 monthly.
Club Nights
The Bastian Agricultural Center is proud to host Club Nights! The Facility has a scheduled club season (April through September) where equestrian clubs use amenities on a weekly basis for a variety of events. Here at the Facility, we’ve hosted 4-H clubs, USWRCA clubs, and the Barrel Buddies Club for a number of years. To find out more about reserving space for your club season, please contact our office.
