Baby Animal Adventures is a family-friendly spring event held at the Bastian Agricultural Center in South Jordan, Utah. The event gives visitors the opportunity to pet, hold, and interact with baby farm animals including goats, lambs, pigs, chicks, ducks, rabbits, and calves.
Hosted by Utah State University Extension, the event also features family activities such as bounce houses, a tractor pull, yard games, food trucks, and agricultural education experiences for kids.

Do you need to buy tickets in advance?No! You can purchase tickets at the gate, but we are a cash-free facility so you must pay with a card
Is Baby Animal Adventures good for toddlers?
Yes! This event is designed for families and kids of all ages, there is something for everyone!
Are there other activities to do besides petting the animals?
Yes! We will have a tractor pull, bounce houses, face painting, sack races, yard games and more!
Can kids hold the animals?
Some of the animals will be available for holding, but proper handling of the animals must be observed at all times
Can we feed the animals?
There is an opportunity to bottle-feed the baby goats, but that is an add-on purchase. If you are interested in feeding the baby goats, we strongly encourage you to pre-purchase tickets as slots will fill up. For their safety, please do not feed the other animals
Is this an indoor or outdoor event?
This is event is outdoors on the Polo Field of the Bastian Agricultural Center
Will there be food available?
Yes! We will have our preferred food trucks on site, just in case you get hungry!
What is the Bastian Agricultural Center?
The Bastian family, in concert with Utah State University, has founded the Bastian Agricultural Center, a campus dedicated to educating the public about contemporary agriculture and inspiring future generations of producers through both structured programs and interpretive experiences open to the public.
The event is hosted by Utah State University Extension, which provides research-based agricultural education and community programs across Utah.
